Many Booster builders choose to use the 987 Aluminium engine cover or create something bespoke, for those who wish to retain the standard glass reinforced nylon 986 engine cover the engine cover modification kit contains everything required to provide the neccesary engine cover clearance for the 06A 20V engine.
The kit includes:
Large Bond In - manufactured via SLS in glass reinforced nylon this section provides clearance for the rocker cover, FPR and rear of cylinder head.
Small Bond In - manufactured via SLS in glass reinforced nylon this section provides clearance for the inlet manifold.
3M DP490 Structural Adhesive - An aerospace specification epoxy adhesive.
1:1 Scale Cut Guide - Designed to allow for easy and accurate trimming of the 986 engine cover.
