The Stewart Components EMP Electric Water Pump is an ideal boost pump solution for cars which need additional coolant flow at low RPM. This update is optional but is recommended for vehicles used extensively on circuit / track days as it avoids the possibility of excessively high engine temperatures on pit entry or boiling of the engine coolant following a spin / stall on circuit. Additionally, vehicles which are used predominantly in city traffic in high ambient temperatures may also benefit from this update as the 06A 20V engine water pump speed is relatively low by design at idle engine speeds
The bracket is CNC machined from 6061-T6 Aluminium and is supplied with fasteners to mount the pump and bracket.
